Job summary

Legends Global in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site desktop and network support for event operations. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain point-of-sale systems and related hardware, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to keep systems running during events.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of IT support experience, a foundation in Windows environments, TCP/IP networking, and a customer-focused mindset to work a fast-paced venue schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or experience substituted for education
• 1-3+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and networking

Responsibilities

• Provide event day setup and support of multiple point-of-sale systems
• Provide excellent desktop support services to internal staff
• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement changes
• Communicate productively across all managerial levels
• Work during most events including late nights and weekends
• Provide level 1 & 2 support of all POS system problems and escalate as needed
• Initiate and implement improvements to areas of responsibility
• Serve as building-wide IT contact for matters
• Conduct stadium walk-through to ensure systems are operational
• Replace defective hardware before/during/after events
• Diagnose software/hardware issues and implement solutions
• Coordinate with external vendors on system support
• Track RMAs for equipment
• Maintain knowledge of organization standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by IT Manager and Controller
