Job summary

The University Memorial Center (UMC) at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Setup TeamMember to provide setup support for lectures, meetings, banquets, and conferences. You will arrange tables, chairs, pipe and drape, mobile staging, and assist with basic AV as needed.

Responsibilities also include daily cleaning, maintenance of offices and exterior areas, and direct customer support to tailor each setup to client needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with others or independently to complete job assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight schedules and under pressure.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate in writing and in person, professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide event setup support across all UMC spaces.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of meeting and banquet spaces.
• Cleaning and maintaining offices and exterior areas of the UMC.
• Customer support to fine tune setups and ensure customer needs are met.
• Annual cleaning and facility maintenance during academic breaks.
• Moving services for offices and equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
