Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in event set up or hospitality roles is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by set-up duties.
• Adaptable to working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the event planning team to understand the layout and requirements for each banquet or event.
• Set up tables, chairs, linens, tableware, and any other necessary equipment in accordance with the event plan.
• Ensure that all decor is properly arranged and aligned with the event's theme or style.
• Perform thorough inspections to confirm the venue is ready for guests, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order.
• Provide assistance in breaking down the setup post-event, ensuring items are stored correctly and venues are ready for the next function.
• Communicate with catering and service staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Address any immediate issues or changes that may arise during an event setup or takedown.
