Job summary

Wilshire HM, LLC is seeking a banquet setup assistant to support event teams in preparing and breaking down banquet spaces. You will arrange tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and other items according to banquet event orders, ensuring timely, accurate setups.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork; you will assist with inventory, transport of equipment, and maintaining clean, safe spaces before, during, and after events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in banquet or event setting preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic event setup and breakdown practices.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up banquet spaces with tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and service items as per event orders.
• Prepare and arrange equipment and furniture per event specifications.
• Break down and clean banquet spaces after events and return items to storage.
• Assist with inventory and transport of banquet equipment, ensuring items are ready for use.
• Provide support during events, including food/beverage stations and guest requests.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and proper disposal of trash during events.
