Job summary

Beth Tfiloh Congregation & Schools is seeking an Events Setup team member to manage daily event setup and breakdown across the Beth Tfiloh campus, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and flexibility for events from two to hundreds of attendees.

The role also supports daily campus needs, including delivery of supplies, parking support, and transportation of equipment; some evenings, weekends, and Jewish holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to use online event system software.
• Ability to understand and follow complex directions.

Responsibilities

• Use event management software to view daily setup instructions.
• Lift, move, stack, and unstack tables and chairs.
• Set up tables and chairs inside and outdoors per plan.
• Set up audio/speakers/microphone equipment as needed.
• Support events throughout duration and assist caterers/vendors.
• Receive deliveries and distribute large items; move equipment for events or classrooms.
• Help other departments with setup, catering, and supplies.
• Learn Jewish customs to align conduct on duty.
