Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Public Safety Coordinator to support daily security and life-safety operations across large venues and events. You will supervise Public Safety Officers, coordinate staffing with contracted security and external agencies, and assist with risk assessments and event safety plans for complex campuses.

The role requires extensive knowledge of crowd management, access control, and incident reporting, with a focus on delivering a safe, customer-focused environment during events

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Public Safety field (Law Enforcement, Military, Fire, EMS, or Security).
• Minimum 3 years supervisory/field training supervisor experience in Public Safety.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a Convention Center or similar venue.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to walk, stand, and work flexible hours up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine rounds of the facility to identify unsafe or insecure conditions and take action.
• Direct visitors and deliveries; coordinate visitor movement and access control.
• Coordinate staffing deployments for events under supervision of the Assistant Manager.
• Monitor fire alarm and surveillance systems; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare event-specific public safety cost estimates for staffing and EMS/law enforcement.
• Coordinate with police, EMS, and contracted security providers during events; reconcile related expenses.
