Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an experienced Public Safety leader to manage the security operations for the Greater Columbus Convention Center. You will oversee daily safety activities, supervise event staff, and coordinate with event management to ensure a secure environment during all events.

The role requires a strong background in public safety, supervisory experience in large venues, and the ability to interact professionally with guests and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Public Safety or related field.
• Minimum 4 years' supervisory/field training supervisor experience.
• Minimum 4 years' supervisory experience in Convention Center or similar venue.
• Valid State driver’s license with no more than 4 points.
• NIMS Incident Management Level 1 (IML 1) and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular rounds of facility and address unsafe or insecure conditions.
• Direct visitors, deliveries and related personnel to proper areas; notify related departments.
• Provide crowd management and assist with crowd movement.
• Coordinate EMS, law enforcement and fire department support as needed.
• Oversee Public Safety Event staff and scheduling with Show Management.
