Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL is seeking a Public Safety Coordinator to lead safety operations at the Columbus campus. You will supervise Public Safety Officers, contract security, and event staff while coordinating with police, EMS, and fire departments to ensure safe event execution.

You will prepare staffing estimates, monitor life-safety systems, and support post-event reviews, contributing to a secure, guest-focused environment across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Public Safety field (security, law enforcement, or EMS).
• Minimum 3 years supervisory/field training supervision in Public Safety.
• Must be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication; able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate law enforcement staffing and EMS needs with partner agencies during events.
• Supervise Public Safety Officers and contracted security personnel; provide direction during shifts.
• Prepare event-specific staffing estimates, cost reports, and after-action reviews for client invoicing.
• Assist with risk assessments, crowd management, access control, and incident reporting.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and safety standards across all operations.
