Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Event Planning Manager to join our team. You will lead event planning efforts, drive client relationships, and coordinate with hotel teams to deliver outstanding experiences for groups and events.

The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on driving revenue and loyalty while maintaining service excellence across all client interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in hotel or conference catering/sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn the hotel brand and strategy.
• Drive loyalty and grow share of the account by delivering service excellence.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries via email/phone/in person.
• Advise clients on hotel facilities and services when proposing groups and events.
• Establish client base through direct sales to secure business for the hotel.
• Negotiate F&B, function space, room rates, and services to meet revenue goals.
• Record all bookings and outcomes; conduct hotel/tour visits for qualified clients.
• Respond promptly to RFPs and client requests; assist with menu planning and event details.
