Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group seeks an energetic Catering Sales Manager to join our team and drive group business through hospitality and targeted outreach. You will learn the brand, build client relationships, and guide events from inquiry to execution.

This role offers daily pay, flexible benefits, and growth within a multi-state hospitality leader that operates 200+ locations. Collaborate with sales and operations to deliver memorable experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• High School education required; post-high school preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years in hotel or conference catering/sales.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and negotiate with clients; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn hotel brand and strategy; drive customer loyalty to grow account share by delivering service excellence.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries.
• Advise clients on hotel facilities and services when proposing groups and events.
• Establish client base of organizations through direct sales to secure hotel business.
• Negotiate contracts according to company standards; meet revenue goals.
• Ensure solicitation, closing, and communications are documented.
• Conduct tours of hotel and banquet facilities; host qualified potential clients.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and monitor local competitors.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as directed by DOS/GM.
• Participate in quarterly/annual plans; assist with budget process.
• Provide prompt responses to client RFPs and information.
