Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an Event Planning Manager to deliver exceptional service and drive client satisfaction for meetings, banquets and corporate events. You will learn the hotel brand, grow loyalty, negotiate contracts, coordinate menus and décor, and ensure space, staffing, and services meet revenue targets.

Requirements include at least 3 years in hotel or conference catering/sales, a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), and the ability to work flexible

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the hotel brand and strategy.
• Drive customer loyalty and grow share of the account by delivering service excellence.
• Solicit new accounts via telemarketing, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries.
• Advise clients on hotel facilities and services when proposing groups and events.
• Establish client base through direct sales efforts to secure business for the hotel.
• Negotiate food and beverage, function space, room rates, and services to meet revenue goals.
• Record all bookings and lost business in the system.
• Conduct tours of the hotel and banquet facilities for qualified clients.
