Job summary

Hyatt Regency Long Beach is seeking an Event Planning Manager focused on servicing sale bookings and coordinating all event needs. This role acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff to ensure flawless execution of every event.

The position oversees sales agreements, F&B and A/V details, and room blocks, while handling billing instructions and final reviews. On-site presence ensures a smooth, successful events experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Extremely detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast paced environment.
• Two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program preferred.
• PSS or equivalent training preferred.

The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing Sale bookings. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. Responsibilities include: administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, billing instructions and final review. Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events.

The salary range for this position is $76,800 - $96,900. This is the pay range for this position that Hyatt Regency Long Beach reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications
