Job summary

Hyatt Regency Morristown at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Entry Level Manager for Event Planning. The role focuses on servicing sale bookings and acting as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff.

You will administer the Sales agreement, detail Food, Beverage and A/V needs, manage room blocks and billing instructions, and ensure on-site coordination for smooth execution of all events. Salary range is $60,000–$70,000 per year with benefits.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program.
• Prefer candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training.
