Job summary

White Lodging, a premier hotel-and-restaurant operator in the United States, seeks an experienced events leader to drive seamless banquets and private events. You will coordinate sales, culinary, and operations to exceed guest expectations and manage staffing, setup, and service throughout each event.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, organizational prowess, and superb communication, with a solid track record in hotel or F&B event environments.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in dynamic service environments.
• Demonstrated strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of hotel operations, F&B, AV, and event workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Knowledge of end-to-end event planning processes and timelines.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the sales team and head chef to deliver exceptional events that exceed guest expectations.
• Plan event layouts, oversee venue setup, and ensure all event elements—tables, linens, centerpieces, and more—are perfectly arranged.
• Coordinate staffing needs, preparing work schedules for banquet servers and event staff.
• Oversee the smooth execution of meals and beverages, ensuring seamless service from seating to table clearing.
• Manage liquor and soft drink availability when required and maintain compliance with service regulations.
• Act as a leader and mentor, coaching and training team members to ensure operational excellence.
