Job summary

White Lodging seeks an Event Manager to bridge the sales team and clients, guiding events from planning through execution in our San Antonio properties.

You will drive revenue with upsell opportunities, coordinate with culinary and operations to ensure flawless service, and forecast monthly food and beverage revenue while maintaining billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude to 'make it right'.
• Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, banquets and event service operations.
• Experience in sales, catering or banquets preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• The Event Manager will act as a liaison between sales person and customer throughout the event process to ensure success of meetings and events.
• Maximize revenue opportunities with upsell enhancements.
• Ensure events run smoothly by communicating and coordinating with sales and various operations departments for execution of details.
• Conduct monthly forecasting of estimated food/beverage revenue and ensure billing accuracy.

• An ability to work reliably and consistently, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
• Experience in sales, catering or banquets preferred, but is not required
