White Lodging is seeking a friendly banquet server to support events across our Austin hotels. You will set tables, buffets, and service stations, and deliver food and beverages with professionalism from guest arrival to departure. We value hospitality, teamwork, and proactive guest care.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social personality with guest-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Passion for service with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of different food-service styles.
• Banquet or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand/manage long shifts and lift 10+ pounds.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks accurately.
• Serve food and beverages tableside and buffet style.
• Monitor service areas to stay clean and stocked.
• Assist teammates to deliver exceptional events.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance as a hotel ambassador.
• Anticipate guest needs with proactive hospitality.
• Know menu items, contents, and garnishes; answer questions.
• Perform opening/closing duties and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for the successful set-up, service, clean-up, and tear-down of banquet events.
• Set tables, buffets, bars, and snack breaks in assigned areas correctly and accurately.
• Professionally serve food and beverages butler-style, tableside, and from buffets.
• Monitor tables, buffets, and breaks to keep them clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Assist other members of the banquet team to deliver a phenomenal event that exceeds guest expectations.
• Be an ambassador of the hotel by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality while always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
