Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates is seeking an Event Manager to lead the food and beverage team during events. You will assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching a hospitality staff to deliver 5-star experiences while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will report to the Operations Manager and play a key role in coordinating event spaces, managing back-of-house operations, and maintaining venue standards across weekends and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing banquet staff and events.
• Ability to train and coach event staff.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and F&B operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and training of banquet staff.
• Ensure banquet staff clock-in and clock-out procedures.
• Schedule hourly staff for events at the venue.
• Lead set-up and breakdown of event spaces per BEO.
• Maintain venue cleanliness before and after events.
• Oversee procurement of event supplies and ensure timely delivery.
• Enforce company policies and standards.
