Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates is seeking an Event Manager to support the food and beverage team during events. You will assist with hiring, training, and scheduling banquet staff, ensuring correct clock-in processes and high service standards to drive exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead setup/breakdown per BEO, maintain cleanliness, and coordinate supplies and deliveries. A Texas TX license (TABC and Food Handler) is required, with 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• College degree or applicable work history required; TX licenses (TABC and Food Handlers) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring and training banquet staff.
• Ensure clock-in/clock-out procedures are followed.
• Schedule hourly staff for events at the venue.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure 5-star reviews.
• Lead setup and breakdown of event spaces per BEO.
• Maintain venue cleanliness before and after events.
• Procure event supplies and manage timely deliveries.
