Job summary

Event Source is seeking an Event Consultant to assist clients in creating memorable event experiences. You will identify needs, recommend rental products, and close sales while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, showcasing Mood Boards, maintaining accurate data, and upselling where appropriate. Occasional travel and a strong emphasis on collaboration ensure successful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• One or more years of related customer service experience.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Windows and Office; able to create Mood Boards.
• Ability to use PowerPoint for Mood Boards and utilize Social Tables for event diagrams.
• Strong math skills including fractions, percentages, and ratios.
• Able to interpret varied instructions and schedules with accuracy.
• Willingness to upsell and solicit orders.
• Professional personal appearance required.
• Experience in events or catering industry preferred.
• Completion of assessments and successful background check/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming calls, texts, web requests, and emails.
• Make outbound calls to update contact information.
• Showcase products in Mood Boards and design presentations.
• Greet clients in the Design Center.
• Enter and maintain customer data and sales information.
• Understand client event needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Follow up on quotes and leads per goals.
• Cultivate relationships to drive retention and repeat business.
• Address and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Network with industry professionals through events and conferences.
• Occasional travel to offsite locations.
• Meet critical performance metrics.
