Job summary

Bright in Torrance, CA is seeking an Event Consultant to be the primary contact for clients renting event products and services. You guide clients through the rental process, recommend products for weddings, corporate events, and parties, and ensure order details are complete and accurate with Sales, Operations, and Event Directors.

You will respond to inquiries, schedule showroom appointments, prepare and update quotes and orders, explain pricing, track payments and deadlines, and communicate

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales, event coordination, hospitality, or a related client-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, orders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfort using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to learn Bright’s rental and reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Schedule and conduct showroom appointments to review event needs and rental options
• Recommend products for weddings, corporate events, parties, and other special occasions
• Prepare and update rental quotes and orders in Bright’s reservation system
• Explain pricing, availability, payment requirements, and product options to clients
• Track client orders, payments, signatures, and event deadlines
• Communicate order details and changes with Sales, Operations, and Event Directors
• Resolve product availability issues, order discrepancies, and client questions in a timely manner
• Support last-minute updates and changing event needs while maintaining accurate records
• Follow established sales and order procedures to support a smooth client experience
