Job summary

Main Event is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan memorable birthday and group events, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met. You will interact with Guests, present event packages, and coordinate scheduling and follow-up tasks using our CRM and office tools.

You’ll work with the Sales Manager to surpass quarterly event sales targets, develop new business through prospecting, and support local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Prior food & beverage or retail experience; sales experience a plus.
• Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!).
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!).
• Relationship building (very important!).
• Proficient in software such as; Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!).
• Welcoming and engaging with all Guests, an ambassador of FUN.
• Understanding all aspects of our event packages, and add-ons.
• Selling, scheduling and coordinating corporate, group, and birthday events.
• Inputting sales revenue and guest information in systems; creating follow-up tasks.
• Partnering with Sales Manager to exceed budgeted event sales targets.
• Prospecting and cold calling to develop new and repeat business.
• Supporting local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales.
• Attending weekly sales meetings to share ideas that support the business.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties.
