Job summary

Walters Wedding Estates, part of the Walters Hospitality brand, is seeking an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our venue guests have the best possible experience and coordinate with the banquet team for flawless events.

The ideal candidate communicates well, is detail-oriented, and takes ownership of tasks. This position is part-time, weekends and evenings, with hourly pay and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Food and Beverage experience preferred.
• TABC and Serve Safe Food Handlers certifications are required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Attend detail meetings and lead rehearsal activities.
• Oversee the wedding ceremony processional and recessional.
• Complete coordinator tasks during receptions to ensure a smooth event flow.

As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our venue guests have the best possible experience. We are looking for someone who is confident in their communication skills, detail-oriented, and dedicated to getting the job done right.

What You’ll Do:

• Attend detail meetings and lead rehearsal activities.
• Oversee the wedding ceremony processional and recessional.
• Complete coordinator tasks during receptions to ensure a smooth event flow.
• Collaborate as part of the banquet team to deliver outstanding service.
• Maintain venue cleanliness and organization at all times.

Qualifications:

• Required Experience: Food and Beverage experience preferred
• Required Certifications: TABC and Serve Safe Food Handlers certifications are required
• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Extreme Ownership: Take full responsibility for your tasks and ensure their successful completion.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Part-time: Weekends & Evenings
• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
