Job summary

Michaels Weatherford is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and facilitate engaging events, including children’s birthday parties, inside the store. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist with store operations, and help create a fun, creative atmosphere for guests.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teamwork and creativity.

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Experience planning and coordinating events, especially for children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at Michaels Weatherford store.
• Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and guide party activities for craft projects.
• Coordinate add-ons like goody bags and balloons per company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team; respond to emails and calls.
• Assist with everyday store tasks and maintain store standards and safety.
