Children in Conflict is seeking an Event Coordinator to support pre-event planning and on-site execution in New York. You'll work with philanthropy and events teams to manage guest lists, seating, and donor communications, while coordinating vendors and race-day logistics.

The role also supports CiC's Young Professionals Group, DIY fundraisers, and national race participation, requiring strong multitasking, meticulousness, and calm under pressure.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, administrative support, development operations, or hospitality management; nonprofit event experience is a plus.
• Experience using donor management software or ticketing/event platforms.
• Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (managing large attendee rosters, seating charts, and financial reconciliations).
• Meticulous attention to detail; spot small issues before they escalate (donor names, vendor invoices).
• Demonstrates warmth, poise, and professionalism during events.
• Capable of juggling multiple event timelines without missing deadlines or deliverables.
• Calm under pressure during live events with a practical, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.

Aufgaben

• Work with event and philanthropy teams to manage guest ticketing, RSVP tracking, seating, and donor registration systems.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, invoices, insurance certificates, and event supplies logistics.
• Assist with pre- and post-event communications with attendees, host committees, and sponsors.
• Provide support for Young Professionals Group; plan networking events and campaigns.
• Manage DIY fundraisers from schools, retail partners, and independent supporters.
• Plan and run CiC presence at national endurance races; serve as main contact for runners/walkers and fundraising support.
