Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audio-visual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. This on-site role reports to a supervisor and requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and software issues.

Responsibilities include precise setup/strike, assisting clients, managing invoices, and documenting orders, with a pay range of $14.22–$18.49 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Ensure accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of basic AV equipment with attention to detail.
• Customer Service: Strive to exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships on-site.
• Technical Ability: Demonstrate basic troubleshooting and problem solving for equipment/software issues.
• Systems Knowledge: Complete paperwork accurately; enter orders and interact with other staff/vendors as needed.
• Work Environment: Adapt to hotel/convention center settings with irregular hours and on-call duties.
