Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license.

You will handle equipment setup, perform on-site troubleshooting, and coordinate with clients to ensure the system works properly. A High School Diploma is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment in a hotel environment.
• Strive to exceed guest expectations and maintain client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues and ensure accurate paperwork.
