Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The role reports to the Operations Manager or Director, Event Technology.

You will handle equipment setup, on-site client meetings, and on-going support, while following company processes and completing required paperwork. A driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
• Works with clients to finalize invoices and completes order entries in Navigator.
