Job summary

Encore in Morgantown, WV seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

You will handle equipment setup, run of show, on-site guest meetings, basic troubleshooting, and accurate paperwork using Navigator and equipment sheets. A high school diploma is required, with some experience in customer service and AV preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Maintains strong customer service by meeting with guests on site and communicating effectively.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues as they arise.
• Completes order entries and uses Navigator to manage equipment sheets and invoicing.
