Job summary

Encore in Kailua, Hawaii, is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and flawless events.

You will meet guests on site, troubleshoot equipment, process orders in Navigator, and work with hotel staff and vendors to deliver outstanding service. A High School Diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred, and certifications completed within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• All training/certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment for events.
• Provide exceptional on-site customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Complete orders and paperwork accurately; use Navigator for entries.
• Collaborate with hotel staff and vendors to ensure smooth events.
• Utilize up-selling techniques to increase revenue.
