Job summary

Encore Global in Miami Beach is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations and oversee the technical team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences during events. You will manage daily workflows, coordinate with venue management, and ensure reliable AV setup and smooth event execution.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as events demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet all training/certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet internal training and certification requirements.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs the workflow of technicians and suggests operational improvements.
• Ensure flowsheets are updated and communicated with venue management and Workforce.
• Provide excellent service and uphold Encore’s Service Standards.
• Train technicians on floor activities and Encore’s service and standards.
• Oversee setup, operation and breakdown of AV equipment and resolve issues quickly.
