Job summary

Encore seeks a Technical Lead to oversee setup and operation of audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting in Scottsdale, AZ. You will work under an Operations Manager and mentor junior technicians while ensuring guests receive world-class service.

This role requires 2–3+ years in AV and customer service, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; you will coordinate with hotel staff, resolve issues, and help with billing and equipment logistics.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications required for this position within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure security and safety of equipment.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and exceed expectations.
• Coordinate with hotel staff and vendors for equipment.
• Assist with invoicing and billing as needed.
