Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and seamless event execution. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and involves on-site coordination with clients, staff, and vendors.

You will perform equipment setup, monitoring, and breakdown, while maintaining strong client communication and completing required paperwork, with physical requirements including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Strives to exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• On-site coordination with clients, staff, and vendors; ensures equipment works and requirements are met.
• Completes order entries and related paperwork accurately; uses Navigator for scheduling.
