Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hospital, clinic, medical office, revenue cycle, or other customer service environment.
• Preferred certifications: CHAM, CHAA, Medical Assistant or related.
• Strong computer and data entry skills; familiarity with insurance benefits and billing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, guests, and family members.
• Create, activate, and complete patient scheduling, clinic registration, or hospital admission process.
• Ensure all required forms are completed and documents gathered accurately.
• Efficiently input patient demographics and financial information; explain insurance benefits and collect payments.
• Performs financial analysis of each case and informs patient of financial responsibility.
• Balance cash drawer daily and perform end-of-shift closing procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate across departments.
