Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a part-time Guest Information Assistant for our Edgewood Hospital location. The role focuses on delivering courteous guest services, directing guests, and protecting privacy under HIPAA guidelines.

Schedule: Mon 4PM-8PM, Tue 11:30PM-8PM, every other Sat and Sun 11:30AM-8PM. Training new volunteers and supporting Lobby/Volunteer Services operations are key duties.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service focus.
• Problem solving abilities and independent work capability.
• Basic computer skills including Word are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide directions to locations and services.
• Deliver accurate information while protecting privacy and HIPAA guidelines.
• Escort guests to appropriate hall or elevator when needed.
• Assist with phone calls, wheelchair requests, donations, and other tasks in lobby area.
• Assist in training new Information Desk volunteers and provide ongoing coaching.
