Job summary

St. Elizabeth is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Edgewood Environmental Services Team. This part-time role covers 20 hours on the first shift, cleaning and maintaining both patient and non-patient areas within the hospital.

Demonstrate respect and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, and staff. No experience required; ability to read/write; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Join a committed team focused on safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning procedures in patient and non-patient areas to provide a clean and safe environment.
• Complete detailed cleaning duties (high dusting, blinds, etc.) weekly or on discharge/transfer to obtain high QA results and patient satisfaction.
• Sanitize and deodorize restrooms to meet quality expectations.
• Remove trash to centralized location for removal from the building.
• Attend in-service programs and Net Learning modules as required.
