Job summary

VCU Health seeks an experienced nurse manager to oversee non-business hours operations, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery. You will collaborate with hospital staff to resolve complex patient‑care and service delivery issues during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure, a BSN as a minimum, and a strong background in acute care with prior nursing management experience. AHA BLS HCP or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible.
• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent desirable.
• Minimum of five years in acute care with two years in management.

Responsibilities

• Provides management coverage during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Leads problem‑solving for service delivery across departments.
