Virginia Commonwealth University Health seeks an experienced nurse leader to provide administrative coverage during evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. The role focuses on solving service delivery issues across departments and addressing patient/family concerns in off-hours.

You will identify systemic problems and support nursing staff in care-related problem-solving to maintain high-quality care. The position requires Virginia RN licensure, BLS HCP certification, and a minimum of five

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state licensure.
• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of acute care clinical experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing management experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative presence during evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Assist staff in problem-solving service delivery issues between and within departments.
• Identify systems problems during off-hours that affect service delivery.
• Support staff in problem-solving related to medical and/or nursing care.
