Chamberlain University’s Houston campus is seeking an experienced Nursing Leader to join the Evening & Weekend Program as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. The role focuses on managing academic operations, supervising faculty, and advancing BSN program goals.

The ideal candidate will have a master’s in nursing, a nursing license, and at least two years in nursing education with leadership experience. This position emphasizes data-driven curriculum improvement and accreditation compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required; doctoral preferred.
• Unencumbered nursing licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing education at bachelor level or above.
• 2+ years in simulation/clinical experience development or participation.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in an academic setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day academic operations and supervise assigned faculty.
• Partner with the Dean to execute BSN program goals and strategy.
• Develop faculty performance and maintain teaching standards.
• Contribute to student success via data-informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate budgets and resource allocation for courses.
• Lead program expansion and new academic initiatives.
