Job summary

Big Sandy Lodge & Resort is seeking a front desk team member for night and weekend shifts on a part‑time basis. You will handle check-in/check-out, greet guests, and assist with cashier duties in a fast-paced hotel lobby environment.

Qualifications

• English language communication required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Stand for up to 8 hours; occasional pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check guests in and out using a computer system.
• Handle cashier transactions accurately (cash, cards, checks).
• Transmit and receive messages by telephone and provide timely information to guests.
• Maintain clean, tidy public areas and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
