Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide daily resident care in a person-centered environment. You will assist with ADLs, respond to calls, and document observations under licensed staff guidance.

In this role you’ll support meals, mobility, and participation in care plans, while maintaining dignity and respect for residents and families. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in applicable states (MO/IL).
• Ability to communicate with residents clearly and with empathy.
• Experience with direct resident care preferred.
• Willingness to work in a team-based, person-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and comfort.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly.
• Support residents in meals and feeding as needed.
• Participate in care/service planning to improve residents’ lives.
• Document care provided in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment.
