Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring residents remain the directors of their own care while upholding dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, mealtime support, accurate documentation, and active participation in care/service plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents.
• Prior experience with direct patient/resident care preferable.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort and provides personal care as per scope of practice.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and meals.
• Documents care provided in clinical records.
• Reports observations to the nurse and participates in care plans.
• Creates meaningful relationships with residents and families and supports decision making.
