Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate setting, working as part of an inter-disciplinary team focused on resident-directed care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with residents.
• Enrollment or eligibility for PA nurse aide registry within 120 days of completing training.
• Prior experience with direct patient/resident care preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ comfort; provides personal care and activities of daily living as directed by nursing leadership.
• Responds to resident calls and requests; reports observations to the nurse.
• Observes residents to identify changing needs and communicates with the nurse.
• Participates in residents’ care/service plans to improve quality of life.
• Assists residents during mealtimes and with feeding when needed.
• Builds meaningful relationships with residents and families, showing compassion and professionalism.
• Supports resident involvement in daily activities and decision making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Documents care provided in clinical records with accuracy.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
