Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Enfield, CT. The role focuses on picking, packing, and shipping finished goods to fulfill customer orders, with an emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and the appropriate forklift and HazMat certifications, with at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product.
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory (70%).
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment (10%).
• Maintain a clean work environment (10%).
• Other duties as assigned (10%).
