McLane Company, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio is hiring a Warehouse Selector to pick product, load trucks, and move goods between the dock and the warehouse.

You’ll operate a reach truck and pallet jack, verify quantities, and maintain accurate records while following safety protocols. This full-time, 2nd-shift role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $21.75 with production pay up to $25.30 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits after 60 days and paid holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
• Preferred: 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operating a forklift, reach truck, or double reach truck.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse and within the warehouse.
• Operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Maintain clean work area and perform other duties as assigned.
