Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to ensure efficient warehouse operations and accurate order fulfillment. This full-time role runs 1pm–9pm, Sunday to Thursday, with overtime as needed. Base hourly pay ranges from $22.50 to $26.00, plus a benefits package and potential short-term incentives.

You will load/unload trucks, count and scan inventory, and prepare products for delivery using forklifts and pallet jacks. Training is provided for equipment use.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift operation (training provided).
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely using a forklift, pallet jack, or related equipment.
• Count, check, and record items coming in or going out of the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanners to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Keep products organized and free from damage; follow safety procedures.
