Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Minneapolis, MN. Shift is 1pm–9pm, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed. Earn $22.50–$26.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonuses.

Training for forklift and scanning devices is provided, no prior experience required. You will move products from the warehouse to customers, accurately fill orders, and help ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for order accuracy and counting.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods while performing duties.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning equipment provided by the company.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Scan barcodes with handheld devices to track inventory.
• Assemble, package, label and palletize material for delivery or storage.
• Maintain product organization and safety procedures in the warehouse.
• Support efficient warehouse operations and safety compliance.
