Job summary

The Colonial Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative at the Welcome Center in Queen Creek, Arizona. You will be the first point of contact for customers and manage schedules, paperwork, and logistics support in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, coordinating with carriers and drivers, processing shipping documents, and maintaining inbound/outbound records using WMS and standard software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate appointment schedules and status updates to customers and team members.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse personnel for seamless dock and yard activities.
• Process and maintain accurate inbound and outbound schedules using warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard office software.
• Prepare and verify all required shipping and receiving documents.
• Sign drivers in and out, verifying identification and paperwork accuracy.
• Reconcile inbound shipments with packing slips and manage trailer inventory.
• Schedule carrier appointments and support shipping/receiving functions.
• Follow safety, operational, and record-keeping policies.
