US Foods is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support logistics operations in Jacksonville. The role involves clerical duties, reporting, and backhaul coordination. You will handle calls, assist drivers and customers, and use software tools to maintain schedules and delivery windows.

The position runs Monday–Friday with a starting pay of $22 per hour, with a broader range of $17–$26 per hour expected in the market. Benefits include health insurance and other standard programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls to resolve driver, sales representative and customer issues.
• Create, update, and communicate reports for transportation functions using Excel and other software.
• Assist in damages and shorts process by notifying vendors and drivers to find a resolution.
• Support backhaul and logistics by scheduling pickups and communicating updates.
