Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Sr Transportation Coordinator for the Montgomery, AL area. The role supports transportation and logistics functions, handling backhaul and reporting duties to drive efficiency.

The position requires three years of warehouse or logistics experience, strong communication, and solid computer skills. It follows a Sunday–Thursday 3am–1pm schedule with a base rate around $25 per hour, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/equivalent is required.
• Prior logistics, transportation, and/or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to resolve driver, sales rep, and customer issues; communicate route updates to drivers.
• Utilize Excel and transportation systems to create, update, and distribute reports.
• Maintain and track transportation metrics and DVIRs.
• Complete damages and shorts processes including vendor/driver communication.
• Support training and development of junior clerical teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
