Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech in Skokie, IL. The role supports hospital and affiliated facilities by providing sterile materials and equipment, performing decontamination, packaging, and sterilization following established procedures for patient safety.

The ideal candidate holds a GED or high school equivalency, with CBSPD or IAHCSMM preferred and at least two years of sterile processing or OR experience. Evening shifts with rotating weekends/holidays apply.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination assembly, packaging sterilization and surgical case cart set up practices by ensuring quality product for patient care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution, ensuring the items are accurately labeled by department.
